WHAT COACHES ARE SAYING

"Jamal Bynum is one of our top soccer players here at Rio Rancho HIgh School. He made the Varsity as a Freshman and has been a starter since his 3rd or 4th game. He has played a variety of positions for us - midfield, forward, outside back, center back - and has been effective at all of them. He was recently voted to First Team All State as a midfielder. His touch is excellent. He is fast and athletic. He is good in the air - and has even scored a couple of header goals for us. As he has gotten more high-level experience, his decision-making and vision have become exceptional. I believe that as he matures and has more experience with more high-level athletes, his practice habits will improve and he will get even better. He is a top player right now, but he has the potential to be something special. He has a huge upside, and we are excited for his Senior year and beyond."

—  John M. Shepard, Rio Rio Rancho HS Head Soccer Coach
